Suzie Rose and Ilana Horwitz, returning co-chairs of the 2012 Hazon California Ride and Retreat, are filming a series of short videos with cycling training tips. They’ve got the new cyclist especially in mind.
Suzie Rose is an educator and advocate in the field of Jewish environmental education. She loves gardening in her sunny backyard in Berkeley, CA., biking for transportation, singing on Shabbat, rock climbing, and creating community. Ilana Horwitz works as an education researcher. She loves living on the west coast, cycling, hiking, and eating amazing healthy food year round. This year’s California Ride will be Ilana’s fourth Hazon ride.
Their first two videos are “How to Keep Your Tuchus [butt] Happy While Cycling” and “Keeping Your Legs and Arms Warm While Cycling.” They have great advice for year round and winter cycling!
