Sustaining our Vision: Leadership, Followership, and Jewish Tradition

Friday, March 16, 2012, 9:00 AM
Aidekman Family Jewish Community Campus
901 Route 10, Whippany, NJ

Nigel Savage, Executive Director of Hazon, will challenge and inspire us to sustain our vision in these complex and challenging times. He will share some of his personal/professional journey that led to the creation of Hazon, which works to create healthier and more sustainable communities in the Jewish world and beyond.

Nigel will use traditional Jewish sources to explore ecology – our relationship to the physical world around us – and the ecology of leadership and followership. How do we lead more effectively; how do we support others; and how do we enable and encourage others to support us in our own work.

The Bier Seminar is devoted to extending knowledge and application of Jewish traditional texts to professional practice. It enables us to learn how Jewish Theology impacts our work and is incorporated in both our shared and separate missions.
