Next week, Colorado will be sending over 30 participants to the Hazon Food Conference. These participants will have the chance to gather together at the conference and here at home to bring new ideas and inspiration to the Jewish community in Colorado.

Outdoor Adventure Teen Biking Program
Calling all High-Schoolers! Join us on one-day, 30 mile bike trips around Denver and Boulder from late August to November. Find out what Judaism has to say about the environment, enjoy a great challenge, and have fun with your friends!
Our experienced cycling counselors will lead you on your journey through beautiful, sunny Colorado while pushing you both physically and mentally.

Calling out to all local organizations, businesses and groups for information and articles about the work you are doing for the Jewish Environmental Community. We are looking forward to helping promote your events and programs as they relate to Jewish Environmental work. Articles written by local community members about programs and work being done will have the opportunity to be posted to the Hazon Colorado blog and included in monthly Colorado Hazon e-newsletters.

Ekar Farm “Tour De Farm” Bike Ride
On Sunday, July 31st, Ekar Farm hosted their 2nd Annual Tour de Farm Family Bike Ride. Billed as a “Ride through the Breadbasket of Denver” the Tour offered families a fun opportunity to support Ekar, while also getting acquainted with 2 other urban farms in East Denver—Sprout City Farm and DeLaney Farm.
