Dr. Jeremy Benstein, Associate Director of the Heschel Center for Environmental Learning and Leadership in Tel Aviv, is author of The Way Into Judaism and the Environment (Jewish Lights, 2006). He co-led the Hazon Israel Sustainable Food Tour in Israel.
Dr. Benstein holds a Master’s Degree in Judaic Studies, and received a Doctorate from the Hebrew University in Environmental Anthropology. He works extensively in leadership development and capacity building with environmental activists and educators in Israel, and has lectured widely in the US, Canada, England, Italy, Spain, Turkey.
