For thirteen years, the Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Institute has been pioneering earth-based, embodied, gender-aware Jewish practice. For the first time ever, Kohenet will be offering a program for the general public, open to all genders, and does not require any additional training commitment.

Enjoy a long weekend of Kohenet earth-based learning, praying, and dialogue experience. We’ll explore Kohenet practices including embodied, gender-balanced prayer, Jewish earth-honoring ritual such as altars and incantation bowls, spirit journeying and dreamwork, ancestor connection, and the mining of Jewish history and practice for embodied pathways to the sacred. We’ll also engage in conversation and innovation to explore best earth-based, embodied Jewish practices in an all-gender context.

We strive to make our retreats affordable to everyone.

We believe retreats are important experiences to be shared. Inclusiveness is one of our core values. We strive to ensure that our retreats are as financially accessible as possible. The Tamar fund makes that aspiration possible. The Tamar Fund is in loving memory of Tamar Bittelman z’’l.
