Thanks so much for your interest in Adamah and Teva. Can I bring my best friend?
This reunion is by and for alumni of Teva & Adamah. While we encourage you to bring a significant other and children, we cannot accommodate friends as part of the reunion. We encourage those interested in Teva, Adamah, and Isabella Freedman to attend one of our other excellent programs.
I don’t make a lot of money. Can I do work trade, or get a scholarship or something?
It’s important to us that this reunion is accessible to everyone in our community, and we are excited to offer all registration prices at a fraction of the usual fee. Camping and dormitory options are a great choice for those with tight budgets. If you are interested in volunteering during the weekend to get a further discount, please fill out this form.
I make so much money. Do you want some?
We love receiving support from our alumni! You are always welcome to make a donation to Adamah or Teva, if you don’t already. Let us know if you’d like to help make it possible for others to come to reunion by contributing to our flight subsidies for those who are traveling from far away.
Will there be programming for my kids?
Yes, absolutely! We will have Gan Adamah for kids ages 2-4 and Camp Teva for kids ages 5-12.
How are the goats doing?
They’re great, thanks for asking! They can’t wait to see you.
Can I arrive early or stick around after the retreat is over?
You are welcome to arrive on Thursday afternoon or evening. We will not have any formal programming until Friday afternoon, however. So if you’d like to come for an extra night and enjoy some quiet time at Freedman or join Adamah in the field, you are more than welcome! See the option to add an extra night when you register.
I’m arriving late/leaving early/sleeping over only one night. Can I pay less?
While we’d love for everyone to participate in the entire program, we understand that you may need to arrive late or leave early. We cannot prorate partial stays.
Should I camp?
That’s for you to decide. We normally don’t offer camping this late in the year. It’s going to be very cold outside! If you plan to camp, be prepared! Bring a good sleeping bag and warm clothes. Keep in mind that we will likely sell out of beds, so if you change your mind at the last minute, you may not have the option of upgrading to indoor lodging.
What time is check-in?
Check-in is on Friday, November 15, from 3-5 pm.
Do I have to register if I’m staying with a friend on campus or nearby?
Yes. In that case you should register as a commuter.
We need two rooms. How much should we pay?
We recommend our Standard and Standard Plus rooms for parties of three or more. Please give the Registrar a call at (860) 824-5991 ext. 0 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss options.
I will be a current Adamah fellow or Teva educator at the time of this Reunion. Do I need to pay and/or register?
You do not need to pay, but stay tuned for info on how to register! Don’t worry; there will be a spot saved for you until then.
Check out the rideshare board and add your car! If you are looking for a ride, adding yourself to the wait list (on the right hand side of the page) is the best way to be notified when movements occur.
We will provide complimentary shuttles from Wassaic Train Station at the designated times on arrival and departure day. Please sign up for shuttles when you register. If you want to sign up for a shuttle after you’ve already registered, email us at email@example.com at least a week before the Reunion to reserve a spot.
Arrival Shuttles – from Wassaic Train Station to Isabella Freedman:
- 4:15pm THURSDAY EARLY ARRIVAL- train departs Grand Central at 1:49pm
- 2:15 pm & 4:15 pm on Friday, 11/15 (trains departing from Grand Central at 11:51 am and 1:49 pm, respectively)
Departure Shuttle – from Isabella Freedman to Wassaic Train Station:
- 1:15 pm on Sunday, 11/17 (train departing from Wassaic at 2:15 pm and arriving at Grand Central at 4:47 pm)
