We are pleased to be able share the magic of Isabella Freedman – virtually!
Isabella Freedman is a special place to many many people. For decades, our Jewish retreat center has hosted thousands of people every year, for all sorts of gatherings and celebrations. In the current climate, we are unfortunately unable to continue that work at our physical location. Still, the bonds of friendship that have been forged there are timeless, and the radiance of the teachings that have emanated from our holy ground know no bounds.
That’s why we are honored and excited to invite you to Isabella Freedman – A Virtual Retreat, Sunday, June 7 at 10 am ET. We’ll start off with an Opening Celebration that you won’t want to miss. Then, we have over four hours of scheduled programming – classes from your favorite teachers, reunions with retreat alumni, and on-the-ground projects coming to you straight from our Lab of Sustainability in Detroit. See how the values and teachings of Isabella Freedman are being reflected on the ground! Stay for the whole event or just drop in for one class. We’d love to see you there!
Make sure to join a very important session of After The Plague: Nigel Savage in conversation with… Rabbi Isaiah Rothstein and Rabbi Jill Jacobs of T’ruah, which will address the current moment and our responsibilities.
*If you/your child is attending Teva, make sure to bring paper and a rainbow of colors (can be crayons, paint, colored pencils, collage materials etc).
