Gazpacho: From Soil to Soup

Aug 19, 2018 - 11:30 am MDT - 2:00 pm MDT

If Israel is the land of milk and honey, then Colorado is the land of tomatoes and peppers! Get your hands in the dirt and on the cutting board with trained master gardener and cook Elise Berlin for an engaging and participatory class in making gazpacho.

We’ll harvest seasonal organic vegetables right on the spot and learn about organic farming, cooking, and sustainability from a Jewish perspective. Enjoy good conversation and the freshest gazpacho possible with a side of bread from local bakery favorite Moxie Bread Company.

When: Sunday, August 19, 11:30 am – 2:00 pm

Where: North Boulder, CO (address provided upon RSVP)

Cost: Suggested $5-10 donation

RSVP: Deadline is August 17. Class limit is 15 people so sign up early! To RSVP or for questions, contact Elise at EliseBerlin@gmail.com.
