May 20, 2020 - 12:00 pm EDT - 1:30 pm EDT
Shavuot started as an agricultural harvest festival and evolved into a historical and religious holiday honoring the receiving of Torah. In this dynamic webinar, we will look at the history of this harvest holiday, the custom of eating dairy and produce, and the themes of freedom and limitation as they relate to our personal food choices. We’ll close with a plant-based baking demonstration with vegan cook Brett Trueman to help make your celebration delicious.
Join Shamayim, JewishVeg, JIFA, and Hazon on Wednesday, May 20th, at 9-10:30 am PT / Noon-1:30 pm ET.
