To celebrate Earth Day, the Consulate General of Israel in New York has initiated an international conference in collaboration with the consulates worldwide. We all see climate, the environment, and sustainability as top priorities and wish to promote international cooperation on these issues.

- Prof. Uri Shanas of the University of Haifa and founder of This is My Earth (TiME) a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving biodiversity by using crowdsourcing to purchase lands in biodiversity hotspots.
- Prof. Dr. Dagmar Haase, Professor at Humbold University Berlin and Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ.
- Dr. Karine Kleinhaus, Associate Professor at the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences at Stony Brook University and studies reproduction and aging in the uniquely resilient corals of the northern Red Sea.
- Jelle Van den Berghe, Advisor to the Hon. Zuhal Demir, Flemish Minister for Justice and Enforcement, Environment, Energy, and Tourism; Lecturer Environmental Management and Biodiversity at PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
- Gilles Kleitz, Director of the Department of Ecological Transitions and Natural Resources at the French Development Agency.
