Join us on April 7 at 5:30pm ET for a webinar. Hazon’s Farm Director and Advocacy Coordinator, Janna Siller, and a fellow Jewish farmer Ariana Taylor-Stanley, who is the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition’s Northeast Regional Organizer in her spare time, to explore your role as an advocate for food justice and develop strategies for impactful, relationship-based policy advocacy work. In part I of the webinar we’ll provide an update on sustainable food policy within pandemic response legislation, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and racial justice work. We’ll discuss specific opportunities for action and advice for how to engage. Part II will be more interactive and allow participants to workshop their capacity for building relationships with legislators and narrative stories they might be uniquely positioned to share.
