Michael W. Greene Fund

The Michael W. Greene Fund in Memory of Esta M. Greene

Teachers learn from their students’ discussions.
—Rashi

Kindly and generously established by retired New York City school teacher, Michael W. Greene, this fund supports Teva and Adamah programs. Young people from all over the country benefit through the generous spirit of his gift. Visiting middle school Teva participants, Adamah fellows, and Teva educators learn about nature, leadership and Jewish identity at Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center. For many, it is a unique way to experience Jewish learning outdoors. Strengthening youth development, the fund is in loving memory of Mr. Greene’s mother, Esta. Hazon acknowledges the special involvement and good friendship of Michael W. Greene, and we are so grateful to include him among our most significant Teva and Adamah supporters.
