Are you interested in bringing fresh, local, organic produce to your synagogue every week? Join Hazon’s Anna Hanau, director of the Hazon CSA Program, and Naomi Abelson and Susan Paykin from the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism to learn about how to set up an innovative partnership between your synagogue and a local farm.

A webinar Led by Social Action Specialist Naomi Abelson with the RAC and Hazon.

In this interactive session, we’ll discuss:

  • Why CSAs embody Jewish values
  • How a CSA can reinvigorate social justice programming, get new folks  involved, and liven up your congregational community
  • How to start a CSA in your own congregation

Hazon’s CSA Program has helped start over 55 sites in the US, Canada and Israel.  Its innovative educational platform allows members to explore contemporary food issues from a Jewish perspective. Hazon CSA offers a chance to re-examine and potentially redefine what it means for food to be “kosher”- not only for us, but for the community and the earth as well.

Join the Hazon and the Religious Action Center to learn more and get started!
