A program of The Jewish Lens and cosponsored by Hazon.
Between May 14th, 2012 and June 11th, 2012, we invited students to take photographs of people doing good deeds or scenes that inspire people to make a change. Then, couple these photos with a Jewish text and their commentary that explains the idea they are sharing.
Congratulations to each of the students for submitting incredible photographs and commentary for our Making a Difference contest!
And the winners are…
- The First Place Prize goes to Jeremy Sherman, 16 years old of Riverdale, NY.
- The Second Place Prize goes to Dara Rebecca Mandel, 15 years old of Scottsdale, AZ.
- The Judges’ Prize goes to Talia Feinberg, 15 years old of Topanga, CA.
All of the students did a truly amazing job. The winning photographs can be found on our Facebook page and our website!
Thank you for participating, and we look forward to the next contest!
TJL was happy to co-sponsor this contest with Hazon, America’s largest Jewish environmental group which aims to create healthier and more sustainable communities in the Jewish world and beyond.
