Bring a team and receive funding for your environmental project!
Any organization or institution that creates a team of 4 or more riders is eligible for a $1,000 grant from Hazon for a project or initiative in line with Hazon’s mission to create a healthier and more sustainable Jewish community and a healthier and more sustainable world for everyone.
NEW FOR 2014: SHARED FUNDRAISING FOR YOUR AGENCY IF YOU BRING A TEAM OF 10+ RIDERS
The 2015 Hazon California Ride has a pilot program open to large teams organized around other 501(c)3 agencies. Teams of 10 or more riders have the option of raising money for Hazon and their agency in equal proportion. After the costs of the ride are paid for, the dollars above that cost will be split 50-50 with Hazon. We are excited about our pilot and the potential it has to bring in new members to the Hazon riding community. Of course, we’ll be interested in your feedback along the way. To confirm that your organization qualifies and for more information, please contact caride@hazon.org.

How does it work?
- The team captain from the organization registers for the California Ride & Retreat and creates a team.
- The team captain, with help from your organization and Hazon, recruits 3 or more people affiliated with the institution to participate in the Ride & Retreat.
- Complete our short application (below) for the grant so we can highlight your organization’s project in the Ride materials.
- The participants fundraise for the Ride & Retreat, train for the riding, and then join us for a memorable experience, with the knowledge that they’ve supported both Hazon and their own organization.
