In addition to growing fresh veggies all season long, we are busy preserving the harvest by making delicious value-added products. We use the ancient art of lactofermentation – a pickling method that simply uses salt. Our certified organic pickles, krauts, kimchi, dilly beans, hot sauce, and other ferments are alive, pro-biotic, and an important part of a healthy diet. Our organic jams are made in small batches to preserve the quality and flavor of the fruit. We also make maple syrup, herbal salve, and lip balm! Availability varies by season.
Dill Pickles: A traditional full-sour pickle that packs a punch.
Dilly Beans: A twist on the traditional cucumber pickle, these pickled green beans are the perfect snack. Warning: these have been rated the most addictive by our customers!
Kimchi: Spicy and full of flavor, this is our twist on the traditional Korean condiment; it’s made with cabbage, carrots, radishes, garlic, scallions, and hot peppers.
Firekraut: Vibrant and spicy, this purple cabbage kraut is made with just enough hot peppers to give it a mild heat.
Beets: Pickled with vinegar, these sweet & tangy beets only need to refrigerated once opened.
Green Tomatoes: Why fry them when you can pickle them?
Sauerkruat: Made from just cabbage and salt. Enjoy it as a side dish, or as a simple and delicious addition to salads, sandwiches, burgers, and more!
Bomb Jelly: This is our sweet & spicy hot pepper jelly, made from our Cherry Bomb peppers. Delicious as a marinade on veggies or meat, or spread on crackers with cheese!
Apple Butter: Full of flavor, this goes well with sweet and savory dishes alike. Try it on latkes or toast, or combine with our kimchi for a yummy chutney!
