Jewish Green Action Circle (Upper West Side)

Oct 19, 2015 - 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

JCC Manhattan, New York, NY,

Calling Jewish communal professionals and lay leaders on the Upper West Side of Manhattan:

Join Hazon for our next meeting of our Jewish Green Action Circle (GAC), a group of Jewish communal professionals and lay leaders who meet bimonthly to share best practices, resources, tools, and financial opportunities around sustainability.jgf_green_action_circle_390x260

Meetings of this “community of practice” serve as an opportunity to meet like-minded professionals and lay leaders and collaborate on inter-organizational greening projects.

Past meetings have focused on sharing greening resources for in-house building upgrades that save energy, cut costs, and provide opportunities for educating members. Each meeting is facilitated by a community member who leads a discussion on a greening topic important to them, such as composting or lighting upgrades. The Jewish Green Action Circle emerged following the third cohort of the Jewish Greening Fellowship, a program of Hazon and UJA-Federation of New York.

Please RSVP to Judy Gross or email Hody Nemes if you have any questions.
