Liberty, Food, and Justice for All: The 2nd annual Hazon Philadelphia Jewish Food Festival will be held this year at Adath Israel on the Main Line in Merion Station, PA. on Sunday, November 16th. This all-day event will be similar to last year’s, with exciting speakers, workshops, a vibrant marketplace, and delicious food.  This coming year in the Hebrew calendar is the Shmita (Sabbatical) year, so we look forward to topics on the themes of rest, renewal, and sustainable agriculture. (Click here  for more info about the Shmita year). Only two weeks prior to Thanksgiving, we hope to give participants food for thought on how to make their Thanksgiving experiences sustainable for their families and their communities at large.
